EzApply is built so that your job-search data stays on your computer.
What stays on your PC
Your CV, profile, skills, interview answers, application history and your job-site logins are stored only on your computer. We never receive them, unless you choose to send them in a problem report (below). Your job-site passwords are never stored at all; only the login session is.
What leaves your PC
Job descriptions and the parts of your profile needed for an answer are sent to the AI you chose (Google Gemini under your own API key, governed by Google's terms, or nothing at all with a local model). Applications go to the job sites and employers you apply to.
What we receive
Your license key, a computer name and an activation ID, checked with Lemon Squeezy every few days to confirm your subscription. Lemon Squeezy processes your payment and email address as our merchant of record.
Problem reports
Only when you click Report a problem and press Send, we receive your message, the app version, your operating system and the recent EzApply logs. Before sending, the app removes your API key, license key, passwords, name, email address, phone number and address, and shows you exactly what will be sent. A screenshot of the page the bot got stuck on is added only if you switch it on; it can show details typed into that form. Reports reach us by email through Resend, and we keep them only as long as we need to fix the problem.
Your rights
You can ask us for, or to delete, the data we hold about you: support@ezapply.app.
